Annual State Fair Singing

Sing with us at the Indiana State Fair! You’ll find us in a big tent on the green at the Pioneer Village! We’ll sing Saturday August 15th, 2026 from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm, with a 90-minute break (noon-1:30 pm) for a “Dinner on the Fairgrounds” (a chance for you to find something delicious while exploring the fair!)

If 90 minutes seems too long a gap, join us in the tent for one of the two 30-minute introductory sessions we’ll offer to fair-goers that briefly explores the history of shape note music and offers a simple rudiments lesson.

Please note: children 5 and under are always free at the Indiana State Fair.

Additional Tickets are always available to purchase from the State Fair.


The location is the Pioneer Village: Golden Fields Festival Stage, in the northeast part of the fair. We suggest parking at the Indiana School for the Deaf and entering at Gate 3 (G3 on the map below). For more information, see the Indiana State Fair Visitor Guide to Directions and Parking.

If you’ve been before, the new venue is just south of the Opry House and next to the main building.
